NEW: 6 & 9-Gang Grid Plates added to Hartland G2 Collection

Hamilton expands its Grid wiring solutions within the Hartland G2 collection to include 6- and 9-Gang Grid Plates. The new Grid Plates allows 20A double pole appliance switches, along with light switches and other controls, such as blind controls, to be in one convenient location.

In keeping with the Hartland G2 design, the new ‘push-to-fit’ Grid plates are also produced from pressed metal, rather than cast, which contributes to an overall cost saving without compromising on quality - a sleek, screwless design at a highly competitive box-fix price.

The 6- and 9-Gang plates are available in ten finishes, including metallics Polished Brass, Satin Brass and Etrium Bronze, as well as on-trend Matt Black.

Hamilton offers a comprehensive range of grid switch accessories for the plate. The 20A double pole switches are available with etched and printed labels, including ‘Oven’, ‘Fan’ and ‘Fridge Freezer’, amongst many others. Hamilton offers bespoke markings for individual projects upon request. Also available within the range are standard 13A Fuse Holders.

For the appropriate design touch, insert/surround colours are available in a combination of 16 finishes to coordinate with the interior décor, including White, Black and Quartz Grey. Popular at present is the Chrome insert for stunning contrast against a Matt Black plate.

Alternatively, Matt Black inserts are also now available, resulting in coordinated inserts and front plate for a subtle, discreet look. Also adding to the design options, the 13A Fuse Holders each have a coloured neon surround that is illuminated when powered, available in Red, Yellow, Green and Blue.

To the back of the insert, Hamilton has added a 2-Way 20A rated switch, rather than 10A, which is useful for a range of applications. The back of the socket is coloured bright yellow, making it extremely easy for contractors to see colour coded terminals.

“This new additional to the Hamilton range provides great flexibility for projects, and helps to bring together the multiple appliances, lights and controls in the modern home, making it especially useful for kitchens and refurbishment projects where kitchen and living spaces are combined,” says Gavin Williams, Sales and Marketing Director at Hamilton. “The plates are available in many desirable finishes, with even more insert options to ensure effortless coordinated with any project. Additionally, once the back plate is wired, the front plate can be easily removed for walls to be repainted or papered, then the plate simply pushes back into position. This makes it a great option for areas that experience heavy use, or hotels that need regular design refreshes.”
