Important Information
Due to a European Union directive, from 1 September 2009, many of the traditional incandescent light “bulbs” are being phased out in the UK.
The reason for this is to inexorably encourage energy saving.
In its place, several different light sources are available and more are being developed.
NOT ALL THESE ALTERNATIVE LIGHT SOURCES ARE OR WILL BE DIMMABLE.
If you have dimmer switches or lighting control systems in your house/commercial premises, you should check whether or not the alternative lamps you decide to use are dimmable and compatible with our dimming equipment.
If they are not, use of them may damage the lamp, dimmer switch or lighting control system.
